Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the first moment.Present menus confidently, highlight specials, and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience while increasing sales.Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring all details are correct for timely delivery.Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation throughout the process.Provide exceptional customer service by attending to guest needs promptly, addressing questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills, ensuring each guest receives attentive service without delay.Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen communication to ensure safety standards are met at all times.Support team members by bussing tables, assisting with food prep when needed, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.Foster positive guest relations by creating an engaging dining environment that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.Qualifications
Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly preferred.Familiarity with POS systemsStrong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience in food service roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous.Basic math skills for cashiering and billing; attention to detail is essential.Knowledge of restaurant operations including bussing, sanitation, and food preparation practices.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members alike.Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations enhances success in this role.
