The Seasonal Golf Course Grounds Crew Member assists in the daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality playing conditions by performing routine turf maintenance tasks, course setup, and general grounds work. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are interested in turf management or golf course operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Mow greens, tees, fairways, approaches, rough, and surrounding areasAssist with course setup, including cup changing, tee marker placement, and bunker rakingOperate and maintain turf equipment such as mowers, utility vehicles, blowers, and hand toolsPerform general grounds maintenance including trimming, edging, debris cleanup, and divot repairAssist with irrigation system operation, hand watering, and basic repairsParticipate in special projects such as aerification, topdressing, overseeding, and soddingFollow all safety procedures and equipment operation guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized maintenance facilityOther duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Assistant SuperintendentQualifications
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as requiredAbility to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrior golf course or landscaping experience preferred but not requiredInterest in turf management or the golf industry is a plusPhysical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and varying conditionsCompensation & Benefits
