Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Supervise shift activities, including assigning tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings.
Familiarity with inventory control methods, food safety protocols, and budgeting processes.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.
Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
