The YMCA Par 3 is looking for outgoing and dependable volunteer Summer Camp Counselors to assist with our youth golf camps. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with kids and being outdoors. Volunteers will help lead campers through golf instruction, games, and daily activities while creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment on the course.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily golf instruction, drills, and on-course playSupervise campers throughout camp activities, ensuring safety at all timesHelp set up and break down practice stations, equipment, and gamesEncourage participation and keep campers engaged and having funSupport staff with group management and transitions between activitiesServe as a positive role model and represent the YMCA in a professional mannerQualificationsReliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled camp daysEnjoy working with children in an outdoor, active environmentBasic knowledge of golf is preferred but not requiredStrong communication and teamwork skillsPositive attitude and willingness to be hands-on throughout the dayAbility to work outdoors in summer conditions (heat, sun, etc.)
