Job Summary
Eagle Crest Golf Club is seeking a dependable and service-focused Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to support seasonal restaurant, golf outing, banquet, and special event operations. This hourly, seasonal position assists with daily food and beverage service, staff direction, guest relations, sanitation standards, inventory support, and event execution. The ideal candidate is professional, hands-on, organized, and able to help lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment while delivering an excellent guest experience.

· Schedule and weekly hours vary based on business levels, outings, banquets, weather, and seasonal operating needs
· Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required during the season
What We’re Looking For
· 1-2 years of restaurant, golf club, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred
· Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience helpful
· Food Manager Certification, Allergens Certification, and Alcohol Management Certification (TIPS or TAM) required within 30 days of employment
· Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills
· Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable, organized, and able to multitask while meeting deadlines
· Seasonal availability during the golf season, including peak business periods
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and service tasks when needed
· Assist with banquet operations, including event setup, service flow, staff coordination, guest needs, and breakdown
· Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, cocktails, wine, and service expectations
· Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, inventory, and proper rotation of food, beverage, and supplies
· Help maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of dining areas, banquet spaces, equipment, fixtures, furniture, and storage areas
· Use and care for restaurant equipment properly
· Support inventory of china, silverware, glassware, and other service items
· Provide operational information to the Food and Beverage Manager, Controller, and General Manager as requested
· Supervise staff during assigned hourly shifts
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts
· Must be able to use hands to handle, control, and operate objects, tools, equipment, and supplies
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary
· Work may take place indoors and outdoors depending on operations, weather, and events
· May be exposed to common food service workplace hazards, including minor burns, cuts, wet floors, and hot surfaces
