Position Overview: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Ramblewood Country Club is looking for an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to assist the Food & Beverage Manager in all the food and beverage operations on site. In this position, you will be helping create memorable experiences for all our guests. Whether they are hosting their wedding or golf outing, meeting friends at the bar for drinks, or attending a corporate meeting, this position is pivotal in delivering unforgettable experiences to every guest.

Duties and Responsibilities
To provide the best of care and services in accordance with modern Food and Beverage Management techniques to ensure customer satisfaction for the Food and Beverage operations
To develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth, improved operations, and constant growth in the entire Food and Beverage operation including (but not limited to) Banquets, Outings Food and Beverage, Kitchen, Tavern, and Golf Course Food and Beverage
To facilitate all Banquets, Outings and Tavern events
Motivate staff to be the best they can be. Make sure Customer service manual ideas are being used to the highest detail
Always think of “The Next Big Idea” to bring new ideas and customers to the clubs
Hire, train, and supervise all wait staff & bartenders
Maintain training with SERV Safe, DRAM, TIPS, and/or TAM
Adhere and maintain all budgeted F&B numbers
Achieving/beating budgeted food and beverage costs
Maintain labor levels within budgeted numbers to ensure payroll is being used efficiently
Accurately forecast and achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
Establish and then achieve predetermined profit objectives
Establish high concern for effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs. Must provide Ramblewood Country Club General Manager, F&B Director, Chef & Sales Director with timely reports for above items when needed
Help prepare/update an operations manual for all Food and Beverage Operations
Help establish attractive, merchandisable, profitable menus for pubs and banquets designed to attract a predetermined customer market
Establish and enforce prices for the operation of all pub, banquets, and banquet bars to achieve a profitable result
Attend and contribute to all weekly BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings and place orders based on upcoming events
Attend and contribute to managers meeting
Maintain relationships with major clients
Ensure events and outlets are managed in compliance with safety regulations and Federal, State and local regulations
Adhere and maintain kitchen state-mandated cleanliness standards
Ensure practice of health and safety regulations
Negotiate supplier prices/costs of food and beverage products
Ensure tavern standards are maintained
Promote tavern events to increase service & sales
To regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance of individual operations & to recommend to Ramblewood Country Club General Manager and F&B Manager new operating and marketing policies whenever sales imply a change
Ensure guest complaints are handled tactfully and efficiently
Participate and find relevant trade shows and attend company sponsored events
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
At all times, present a favorable image of Ron Jaworski Golf/ Ron Jaworski Weddings/Seven Tap-Tavern
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Food & Beverage management diploma preferred
2-3 years’ experience in front and back of house positions of banquets, restaurants, bars
Must be neat, courteous and possess a pleasing appearance. Wear suits during weddings and major events
Must have good communication skills
