Greenskeeper (Experienced) –Greenhorn Creek Golf Club and Resort Location: Ione, California Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (based on availability) Reports To: Golf Course Superintendent Position Summary: Greenhorn Creek Golf Club is seeking a skilled and motivated Greenskeeper to join our golf course maintenance team. This position is ideal for individuals with prior experience in golf course maintenance or professional landscaping who take pride in creating and maintaining high-quality playing conditions. The Greenskeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the course remains visually appealing and playable for all guests. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing Maintain greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and rough areas to club standards Operate and maintain maintenance equipment safely and efficiently Assist with irrigation repairs and watering schedules Rake bunkers and ensure proper sand consistency and presentation Monitor turf health and report any issues such as disease, pests, or irrigation concerns Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Support special projects and course improvements as assigned Qualifications: Required: Prior experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or a related field Knowledge of turf management practices preferred Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be dependable, hardworking, and a team player Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion for extended periods What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Opportunity to work at one of the premier golf facilities in the region Positive team environment with growth opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Work Location: In person
