Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled foods according to our recipes and standards, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items on the grill to order, ensuring proper portioning, seasoning, and presentation.Maintain quality and consistency of all grilled dishes.Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including marinating, chopping, and seasoning meats and vegetables.Keep the grill station clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of food.Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.Knowledge of grilling techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 Lbs.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
Fast-paced kitchen environment.Exposure to heat, smoke, and cleaning chemicals.Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
