Job Title: Sauté Cook

Job Summary:
A GIGCC Sauté Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision, ensuring high quality standards and consistency. The Line Cook is responsible for executing menu items to exact specifications, maintaining high kitchen standards and working collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure a smooth service. This person should be passionate about food, have a strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. They also will promote a sense of camaraderie as teamwork and gracious hospitality are hallmarks of our club.
Key Responsibilities:
● Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and specifications.
● Operate grills, fryers, ovens and other kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
● Assist in food prep and ingredient stocking before and during service.
● Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation to maintain Club standards.
● Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure a smooth service.
● Adhere to all food safety regulations and Club standards.
● Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
● Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.
● Strong understanding of cooking techniques, food preparation and kitchen safety.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
● Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
● Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Good time management skills.
● Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
● Work is performed indoors and outdoors depending on Club needs.
