About the Role
Overview Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Server to join the Food and Beverage Service Department. The role is located at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, outside of Nashville, Tennessee. This is a full-time hourly role with pay starting at $18.00 per hour plus gratuities.
Have a thorough understanding of all cocktails, wine, beer, and beverages, and be able to pair wine to menu items.
Enter all transactions into the POS system, issue accurate checks, and close sales timely and according to policies and procedures.
Be attentive to any food allergies.
Ensure all orders are complete and accurate prior to delivery of food according to individual specifications.
complete daily stocking and adhere to food safety standards.
Maintain the appearance of the restaurant consistently throughout the day.
Conduct inventory of restaurant items as requested.
Report maintenance and/or safety issues promptly to the Restaurant Manager.
Maintain all equipment and ensure it is properly handled and maintained.
Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of previous serving experience in a full-service environment, preferably at a fast-paced, high-end restaurant, club, or resort.
Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and local food safety standards; possesses or ability to obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
Robust knowledge of wines and beverages.
Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service.
Additional Requirements Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for extended periods, and lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
