About the Role
Scottsdale National Golf Club is known for providing distinct, memorable, and genuine levels of service to our Members and Invited Guests and we work hard to provide an elevated hospitality approach day-in-and-day-out. We show up each day ready to support one another by fostering an environment of anticipating needs, creating meaningful connections, and challenging ourselves to be better than we were the day before. Our Spa Coordinator role is an important position for our team, and we will look to you to lead by example, set high standards for the department and promote a work environment that doesn’t settle for anything less than producing high quality results.
In this position, you will work closely with the Spa Supervisor in a highly collaborative manner to build lasting relationships with Members and Invited Guests and maintain our exceptional service quality. You will have a strong sense of accountability within the department, assume ownership of communication priorities across our collective teams, and reinforce our instilled values with each interaction. In addition, it is expected that you will work closely and collaboratively with our Food and Beverage, Member Services, Membership/Events, Professional Golf Staff, and Grounds teams to ensure an elevated Member and Invited Guest experience. This “global service” approach is a significant element to our collective success, and this position will play an important role in ensuring, and more importantly, modeling a global service standard, attitude and mind-set in all situations.
Your daily responsibilities will ensure proactive, prompt, and polite service to Members and Invited Guests, and assist with running the day-to-day operations within the Spa & Salon. We will look at you to take and confirm appointments, complete special requests from Members and Invited Guests, answer questions and concerns, and provide a welcoming and engaging environment within the Spa & Salon. We will also look at you to actively promote the Spa, our treatments, services, and retail products, and provide an orientation to Members and Invited Guests about the services to be performed and/or recommended. Lastly, you will help to ensure that the Locker Room, Gym and relaxation areas are clean, organized and stocked for the flow of in-coming and out-going Members and Invited Guests. Most importantly, you will be the Spa & Salon point of contact whenever the Spa Supervisor is not present. When peak business levels arise, you will be asked to assist our Member Services team with shuttling and assisting Members and Invited Guests as necessary. This position requires use of a motorized golf cart, and you will need to abide by all of the required safety policies and procedures we have in place.
Ensuring our Members and Invited Guests are made to feel welcomed while creating a memorable experience during and following their visit is a top priority. We will be looking to you to embrace our already distinctive team environment where accountability for your actions, providing consistency in carrying out your job duties and having an eye for detail is part of your regular workday, and most importantly, how we define success for ourselves, our team and the Club.
