Ground Staff

Cobbs Creek Golf Course is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Greenskeeper to support daily golf course maintenance operations of the newly built Short Course and Driving Range as well as the Olde Course that is currently being constructed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining championship-level playing conditions while preserving the natural beauty and environmental integrity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform daily golf course maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, raking bunkers, blowing debris, and cup cutting.Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice facilitiesOperate and maintain golf course equipment safely and efficiently.Apply products, topdressing materials, and other turf management products under supervision.Support aerification, overseeding, and seasonal agronomic programs.Monitor turf conditions and report issues related to disease, pests, drainage, or equipment.Help preserve the natural landscapes and environmentally sensitive areas surrounding the courses.Follow all safety procedures and club standards while working independently and as part of the agronomy team.Qualifications Previous golf course maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and early mornings.Strong work ethic with attention to detail and reliability.Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools.Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.Valid driver’s license preferred.Physical Requirements Ability to safely operate golf course maintenance equipment and utility vehicles.Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold temperaturesSchedule Expectations Early mornings, weekends, and holidays requiredFlexibility during peak seasons and high-profile eventsFlexibility to respond to weather events and operational needs as necessary.Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
