Heritage Oaks Golf & Country Club is seeking a motivated, experienced, and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team.

This position combines restaurant leadership, staff development, and administrative responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in hospitality management.

What You'll Do

Assist with daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and Member satisfaction. Lead, train, motivate, and supervise servers, bartenders, and support staff. Maintain a visible, hands-on presence in the dining room. Handle Member requests and concerns professionally. Update menus, daily specials, and POS systems, including pricing and menu items. Assist with inventory management, staff scheduling, and administrative duties. Work closely with the culinary and management teams to ensure smooth operations. Provide occasional support for banquets, special events, and other Food & Beverage operations.

What We're Looking For

Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience required. Private country club, fine dining, or upscale hospitality experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and restaurant POS systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience training and supervising restaurant staff. Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed, with flexibility in scheduling.
