ThirdChannel is hiring an entry-level project manager to support two new consumer programs at adidas: City Shop and Made for You. These programs aim to bring the adidas brand closer to the cities it serves. The role is based at adidas' North America HQ in Portland, Oregon, and the individual will report to adidas' Senior Manager, Consumer Programs, while being administratively part of ThirdChannel’s Client Services organization.
This is a unique opportunity to help build and define processes for new programs, offering a dynamic and evolving work environment rather than a strictly defined playbook.
Responsibilities
Track both consumer programs across all retail locations, ensuring milestones, open items, and follow-ups are progressing.Coordinate with vendors and agency partners throughout the supply chain, from sourcing to local decoration and delivery to stores.Place, allocate, and track orders, paying close attention to details to ensure timely product delivery.Report on key program performance indicators (KPIs) such as units customized, sell-through, and consumer engagement, and contribute to future season planning.Assist in building and maintaining a retail calendar that aligns both programs with significant cultural moments and local city trends.Coordinate efforts across various departments including retail marketing, visual merchandising, merchandising, allocation, and store operations.Prepare necessary materials for seasonal planning meetings, program recaps, and leadership updates.Support budget tracking, purchase order (PO) processing, and vendor setup procedures.Requirements
One to three years of experience in project management, retail marketing, merchandising, or marketing analytics.
Strong internship or early-career experience is acceptable.A four-year degree in business, marketing, retail management, or a related field.Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, inquisitive approach to problem-solving.Working analytical skills with the ability to interpret retail and marketing data.Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across two organizations.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to work onsite at adidas' Portland HQ four days a week, with one flexible day.Willingness to travel up to 15%, typically involving quarterly in-market store visits.Nice-to-haves
