Dishwasher / Steward (Full-Time AM Position) Chapel Hill Country Club – Chapel Hill, NC Chapel Hill Country Club is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher / Steward to join our culinary team. This is a full-time morning position focused on maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting daily operations. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment Maintain dish area cleanliness and organization throughout the shift Receive and assist with putting away deliveries and stock Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes and packaging materials Remove trash and recycling as needed Keep storage areas, walk-ins, and loading areas clean and organized Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures in accordance with North Carolina Health Department regulations Assist chefs and kitchen staff with general stewarding and cleaning duties Support opening kitchen procedures and daily operational needs Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior dishwashing or stewarding experience is helpful but not required Positive attitude and attention to cleanliness and organization Benefits Full-time, year-round employment Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee meals during shifts Paid time off and benefits package available for eligible employees Opportunity for growth within a professional culinary team If you take pride in keeping a clean kitchen, are organized, and operating at a high level, we'd like to meet you.
