Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour Job description: Golf Outside Operations Team Member JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Golf Outside Operations Team Member Reports to: Leader of the Outside Operations & Assistant Golf Professionals Position Summary: Provide bag, golf cart and range services to members and guests. Classification: This is non-exempt, hourly position. Essential Job Functions: This position is responsible for, but is not limited to, the following: · Brings golf carts from cart storage to cart staging area outside Golf Pro Shop. Ensures golf carts are clean and properly stocked with tees, scorecard, pencil, sand bottles, & daily pinsheet. · Loads bags from bag storage room onto golf carts. · Transports range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers. · Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range. · Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls. · Washes all range balls daily. · Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room. · Returns golf carts to cart shelter; removes towels, pencils, score carts, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable. · Advises Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found. · Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment. · Maintains cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room. · Attends staff meetings. · Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Leader of the Outside Operations & Assistant Golf Professional. Education and/or Experience · Knowledge of the game of golf preferred. Physical Demands: This position involves (on a regular basis) sitting, standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, reaching, and lifting at least forty (40) pounds.
