The Food & Beverage Manager position at Storey Lake Club is an exciting leadership opportunity within the club's dining and beverage operations. This role demands a passionate hospitality professional who excels in team leadership, operational management, and guest satisfaction. The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of food and beverage services, ensuring that member and guest experiences surpass expectations. The position involves managing daily operations such as personnel training, menu planning, inventory control, vendor relations, and catering functions. Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to sanitation standards are vital in this role. The manager will also play a key role in implementing best practices, utilizing inventory management software, and fostering strong partnerships with preferred suppliers.
In this role, approximately 51% of the manager's time will be devoted to supervisory duties that include walking the dining area to engage with guests, maintaining communication with key department leaders, and inspecting the facility to guarantee a high standard of maintenance and equipment operation. The Food & Beverage Manager will be directly involved in staff recruitment, training programs, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution, ensuring that the food and beverage team is motivated and well-equipped to deliver excellent service. Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and speak English
Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
