Golf Course Maintenance Mechanic

About the position

Repairs and maintains all equipment related to the maintenance and conditioning of the golf course while working closely with the golf course Superintendent in a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance, repairs and sets up all equipment and licensed vehicles used by the golf course maintenance crew.Maintains an adequate inventory of parts and supplies.Keeps the golf course maintenance shop in clean and orderly condition.Coordinates and schedules all daily/weekly/monthly/annual maintenance of golf course equipment.Performs related work as required.Requirements

Small engine repair.Hydraulics.Welding.Electronics.Grinding and sharpening of reels and bed knives.Operate the equipment required for golf course maintenance.Deal effectively with the public.High School diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented with courses specific to mechanical maintenance.Six months of mechanical maintenance experience.Valid driver’s license and a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Regulations.Subject to background investigation.Benefits
