Golf Course Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

Keep golf course equipment dependable, safe, and ready for daily use as a Golf Course Maintenance Mechanic. You’ll inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mowers, utility vehicles, generators, and other grounds equipment. The role suits a hands-on mechanic who can work through mechanical and electrical issues, use tools safely, and support a team focused on course conditions.

Duties

Perform equipment maintenance, vehicle maintenance, small engine maintenance, engine repair, diesel engine repair, and mechanical systems repair. Diagnose equipment problems using schematics and electrical diagnostics; complete electrical work, soldering, welding, and generator repair as needed. Must have working knowledge of reel mowers, bed knives, and reel grinding Use hand and power tools to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. Handle and move equipment and parts, including tasks requiring manual handling and heavy lifting, while following safe work practices. Coordinate repair needs with course staff. Qualifications

Mechanic or service technician experience Mechanical knowledge and experience with golf course machinery, electrical systems, equipment troubleshooting, and equipment repair. Ability to read schematics and use hand tools and power tools safely; experience with power generation systems is an asset. Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling and heavy lifting. Welding, soldering, equipment service skills are preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
