Golf Course Assistant Superintendent

Northwood Golf Club located in Monte Rio, California, is looking to fill an open position for Assistant Superintendent. Northwood is recognized as one of the top nine-hole golf courses in the nation. We are looking for a hard working, reliable individual with previous golf course maintenance experience. Work in a beautiful outdoor setting with free golf privileges on a space available basis.

Job Duties Include:

Daily course set-up (greens, tees, bunkers) Mowing Irrigation repairs Equipment repairs Basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work Supervising a crew of 3 employees Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure smooth operations and optimal course conditions

Job Requirements include:

-Previous golf course maintenance experience of at least 2 years.

-Ability to work weekends if needed

-Able to walk 5 miles per day on uneven ground

-Able to lift 50 pounds

-Possess a valid driver’s license

-Act in a courteous manner towards customers, coworkers, and management.

-Maintain the golf course to standards set by the Superintendent

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
