Job Description SummaryPerform grounds maintenance work using various mowing and detailing equipment. Assist with water management and renovations, as well as lead small projects as necessary. Act as mentor and train other line associates while possessing an exemplary attitude and leadership skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerform all tasks instructed by Team Leads within Golf Course Maintenance Operations.Check all fuel and oil levels of equipment prior to leaving the shop, refueling and cleaning upon task completion.Report any malfunctioning equipment or unsafe conditions/acts to appropriate Team Leads.Mow all green tees and approaches in straight lines, following the plan for the day regarding mow direction.Responsible for mowing roughs and fairways.Perform golf course service and render fertilizer and pesticide applications under the supervision of a Team Lead.Manage the water relations during summer months, including hand watering and overhead irrigation operation.Lead and/or participate in small projects such as bunker renovations, sod projects, shaping and grading of surfaces, drainage installation and the design and installation of supplementary irrigation systems.Act as a mentor and assist other associates with less experience by teaching proper and efficient techniques.Assist in keeping a clean, safe shop and environment.Exercise proper etiquette while around co-workers, members and guests on the golf course.Represent Loch Lloyd Country Club in a professional manner at all times.Perform other related tasks as assigned.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESStrong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.
