Assists Head Coach in managing and executing administrative and athletic functions of coaching a collegiate team. Establishes and maintains team rules and expectations. Coaches, trains, and develops individual players and their skills. Recruits prospective student-athletics, coordinates visits, and plans travel itineraries for the team.
Responsibilities
Assists Head Coach with practice and match planning. Develops training sessions for Denison athletes and provides athletes with feedback and direction.Develops strategy for future opponents and analyzes film and creates scouting reports.Attend practice and work with individual student-athletesTravel to tournamentsReinforce team and University rules and expectationsPerforms other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience
Entry level position. No prior work experience required.
Preferred Experience
1-3 years’ experience playing, coaching, and/or recruiting at the collegiate level
