Tavern Server

Description The Servers are integral to the guest experience and provide food & beverage services to the guests of the property he server will be processing orders and serving food & beverage items to customers ensuring 100% guest satisfaction Responsibilities: 1. Maintain a professional appearance at all times Provide prompt and efficient customer serviceDisplay knowledge of the Tavern menuTake guests food and/or drink orders and accurately import them to computerServe beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely mannerAdhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and the discontinuing service to intoxicated guestsChecks back to ensure guest(satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary and/or requestedHandles all cash and/or credit cards for paymentKeeps tables, dining room and work station(s) sanitized and organizedListen and respond to customer complaintsPerforms clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by managerPerform other duties as assigned Working Conditions: 1. Employee must be able to lift/handle up to 20 lbs. occasionally Work extended hours during golf and holiday seasonWork weekends and holidaysPhysical activity including long periods of standing, walking, bending,Operate food service equipment and clean food service areasFast paced high traffic areas with a moderate to loud noise level Qualifications A thorough understanding of fine and casual diningMust be of legal age to serve liquor according to state lawPossess excellent customer service skillsMust be dependableMust be able to work in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environmentMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate computerized cash register system
