Grill Cook

Job Summary Join our culinary team as a Grill Cook, where your exceptional cooking skills will shine! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing menu items on a gas grill, flat top grill, fryer and smoker. You will follow set recipe's with opportunity to have some creative input. This position is in a beautiful outdoor kitchen with open access to members of the club. You must have a professional appearance and be personable to the members. weekend hours are required in this role due to the demand of business. Duties Prepare, grill, and cook a variety of menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Follow established recipes and menu plans to deliver flavorful dishes that satisfy our guests’ expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients as needed for various dishes. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and optimal taste. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service periods. Adhere to all food safety regulations and health codes to ensure a safe dining environment for everyone. Qualifications Previous experience working in private clubs, golf clubs, restaurants, or the food industry is highly desirable. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required. Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A background in culinary arts or related training is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued!
