Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Marshal, where you will be the friendly face ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and smoothly operated golfing experience for all members and guests. Your energetic presence will help manage pace of play, enforce safety protocols, and provide exceptional guest services. As a key member of our team, you will foster a welcoming environment while maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards. This position would be primarily Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
Responsibilities
Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival, providing information about course rules, facilities, and services to enhance their experience
Checking that golfers adhere to cart policies (such as no driving in the rough), dress code, and etiquette
Helping players locate stray balls, providing course information, or addressing minor issues
Enforce course regulations with professionalism and courtesy, addressing any concerns promptly
Manage pace of play by coordinating with players and providing guidance to optimize flow on the course and preventing major gaps or slow play backups
Conduct regular inspections of the course and facilities, reporting maintenance issues or hazards promptly
Excellent communication skills for member and guest engagement
Ability to defuse a situation so that all parties are satisfied and can enjoy their day
Prior experience working in a golf operation is required
A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
