Equipment Manager

About the position

The Powder Horn Club in Sheridan, Wyoming, is hiring a full-time Equipment Manager to maintain and support the equipment used to keep the golf course in top condition. This hands-on role supports the course-maintenance team and focuses on safe, reliable equipment. The position is part of Troon, a global club-management company. Annual compensation is \$75,000.

Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose, and repair golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines.Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service and repair records.Help manage parts, tools, inventory, and equipment storage.Prioritize equipment repairs and maintenance based on operational needs and equipment reliability.Coordinate equipment needs with the course-maintenance team.Promote safe work practices and keep the shop organized.Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.Perform other duties as required.Requirements

Experience maintaining or repairing turf, agricultural, automotive, or small-engine equipment.Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.A safety-minded, organized approach to work.Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.Nice-to-haves
