Equipment Manager

About the position

The Powder Horn Club in Sheridan, Wyoming, is hiring a full-time Equipment Manager. This hands-on role maintains and supports the equipment used to keep the golf course in top condition. The position is part of a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property organization and works with the course-maintenance team.

The role includes maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing golf course maintenance equipment; performing preventive maintenance; keeping service and repair records; managing parts, tools, inventory, and equipment storage; and helping prioritize repairs according to operational needs and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose, and repair golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines.Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate service and repair records.Help manage parts, tools, inventory, and equipment storage.Establish priorities for equipment repairs and maintenance based on operational needs and equipment reliability.Coordinate equipment needs with the course-maintenance team.Promote safe work practices and keep the shop organized.Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.Perform other duties as required.Requirements

Experience maintaining or repairing turf, agricultural, automotive, or small-engine equipment.Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.A safety-minded, organized approach to work.Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.Nice-to-haves
