About the Role
Position Summary
Suneagles Golf Club is seeking energetic, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Outside Services team. As the first and last point of contact for our members and guests, Outside Services Attendants play a critical role in delivering a first-class golf experience. This is a tipped position where exceptional customer service and professionalism are rewarded.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing luxury-level hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of presentation throughout the golf operation.
Essential Responsibilities
Welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
Assist golfers at the bag drop by unloading, storing, and loading golf bags.
Prepare, stage, and organize golf carts prior to play.
Clean, sanitize, charge, and inspect golf carts after each round.
Wash and clean golf clubs upon request.
Keep the cart staging area, bag drop, practice areas, and clubhouse entrance clean and organized.
Monitor and assist with the pace of play as directed by Golf Shop staff.
Pick the driving range and maintain practice facilities as assigned.
Transport golf bags and equipment safely throughout the property.
Assist with outings, tournaments, and special events.
Provide directions, answer guest questions, and anticipate member needs.
Deliver a luxury guest experience by maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf Operations Management.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Previous golf course, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Golf knowledge is helpful but willing to train the right candidate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift and carry golf bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold.
Bend, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
Schedule
Seasonal position during the golf season.
Flexible scheduling required.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, and special events as business demands.
Typical shifts begin before the first tee time and may extend through the completion of daily play.
