Full-time employees working 30 hours or more weekly are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off, seven paid holidays annually, and participation in a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service.
The role of the Club Manager at Villa Portofino is strategic and multifaceted, designed to lead and align the facility's operations with the broader objectives of BlueStar Resort & Golf Division. This leadership position involves planning, directing, and coordinating the club's business strategies for both short and long-term success. The Club Manager works closely with executive leadership including the President and Vice President to set goals, manage financial performance, and oversee facility development projects. Key responsibilities include contributing to the five-year and annual business plan, ensuring harmony between facility growth and operational goals, engaging with government agencies and clients, and driving marketing, branding, and pricing strategies. The role also encompasses oversight of food and beverage operations, cost management, development of member programs, and hosting events to enhance community engagement and attract new members. Graduation from a 4-year accredited college or university or equivalent combination of work experience and education
Minimum of 5 years experience managing a high-end private club or a portfolio of several clubs
Extensive working background of all operations related to a private club including administrative, maintenance, financial and personnel matters
Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
Experience in event planning and budgeting preferred
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, suppliers and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, portions and percentages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills in dealing with members and clients
Must demonstrate initiative ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
