1st Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Frisco, Texas is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent I is a key position and second in command within the Golf Course Maintenance operations of the West golf course. This individual must always have a keen eye for detail and be able to assist the Superintendent in keeping the golf course well-groomed for daily play and for the numerous events and tournaments throughout the year. The West Assistant Superintendent I is responsible for the daily activities of the golf course maintenance staff, including supervision and training of staff to perform all the tasks associated with maintaining the golf course.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Texas Pesticide Applicator License
• Able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Compensation
$60,000 to $65,000 per year.
