Role Description The Director of Sales – PGA Pro is a full-time, on-site role based in Norcross, GA, responsible for leading sales efforts focused on golf professionals, academies, and related channels. This role oversees daily sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and execution of revenue growth strategies for Ernest Sports’ launch monitor product line. The Director will build and maintain strong relationships with PGA professionals, key accounts, and distribution partners, while identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and coaching the sales team, collaborating with marketing on campaigns and promotions, gathering market feedback to inform product and pricing decisions, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The role also requires regular reporting to senior leadership, participation in industry events and trade shows, and close alignment with internal stakeholders to meet sales targets.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Business Development, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.Experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM use, and process optimization.Strong Customer Service orientation, with the ability to build lasting relationships and provide solutions-focused support to golf professionals and partners.Proven Team Management skills, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, goal-driven culture.Background in the golf industry or sporting goods sector is highly beneficial; familiarity with launch monitors, simulation technology, or golf instruction is a plus.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work on-site in Norcross, GA and travel as needed for customer visits, events, and trade shows.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
