Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Duties Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course by mowing fairways, greens, and rough areas using lawn care equipment and power tools Assist with irrigation system operation and troubleshooting to ensure optimal watering schedules and water conservation Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control to promote healthy turf and plant growth Use hand tools and gardening equipment to aerate soil, edge bunkers, and perform routine groundskeeping activities Conduct regular inspections of the course’s landscaping features and report any issues requiring repair or additional attention Support seasonal projects including planting new vegetation or installing landscape features to enhance course aesthetics Ensure safety procedures are followed when operating machinery or handling chemicals related to horticulture and land management Skills Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and turf management techniques Experience with lawn care, gardening, horticulture principles, and landscaping design Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment including mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work in outdoor environments Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills coupled with a proactive approach to maintaining course standards Join us in creating an exceptional golf experience by ensuring our course remains lush, vibrant, and inviting.
