The Barista position at The Canyons is a vital part of the Food & Beverage department, offered on a part-time basis with a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour plus tips. As a Barista, you will prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistent, high-quality service. Reporting directly to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, the Barista is entrusted with creating memorable guest experiences by being attentive, energetic, and knowledgeable about coffee drink offerings. The role requires active interaction with guests to understand their preferences, make suitable drink recommendations, and ensure timely and correct order delivery. In addition to beverage preparation, duties extend to handling transactions, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding cleanliness standards in the café environment.
