Assistant Superintendent

PGA National is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the Agronomy Department. This is an opportunity to be part of a multi-course operation and gain experience preparing a golf course for a PGA TOUR event. This position will provide you with a career path for growth and the opportunity to become a successful Golf Course Superintendent. PGA National has five championship golf courses operating out of 3 maintenance facilities.

Currently we are in the final stages of a complete renovation by Davis Love III on our Triple Stick Course. We completed an 18-hole Bunker Solution renovation on the Palmer Course this summer. Scheduled to start renovation on the Match Course early spring of 2027 including lengthening the golf course, drainage and irrigation upgrades, greens and bunkers construction. The Champion Course is scheduled for complete renovation including greens, tees, bunkers, drainage, irrigation and complete regrassing.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with the ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

- Work with Superintendent managing daily operations

- Oversee training for safe operation and cleanliness of equipment

- Works closely with Superintendent in managing annual budget and recordkeeping

- Provide feedback in preparing short-term and long-term agronomic strategies
