About our property:
Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, by Curio is a stunning waterfront destination located in Southwest Florida, offering the perfect blend of luxury and leisure. What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Bartender/Server at Aileron Golf Club will prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, wine, beer, and menu items while providing table and bar service as assigned. Responsibilities include verifying guest age requirements, managing payments, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and upholding all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring accuracy in orders, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hospitality.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices, and procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Warmly greet and engage guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders and offering menu recommendations.
• Provide both bar service and table service to guests within the Clubhouse, ensuring consistent attention and hospitality in all areas of operation.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, and wine, with expert knowledge of recipes, presentation, and proper garnishes.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining exceptional service and attention to detail.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and dining areas throughout the shift.
• Restock and rotate inventory of beverages, supplies, and garnishes as needed.
• Accurately process transactions through the POS system, handling cash and card payments according to company procedures.
• Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines and resort safety standards.
• Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties as directed by leadership.
• Maintain product knowledge of all menu offerings, including daily features and promotions, to enhance upselling opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient and consistent service flow.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with state and resort requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the Food & Beverage team.
What are we looking for?
Required:
• 21 years of age
• ServeSafe Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent
• 1-year experience bartending preferred
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local liquor laws
