Senior Golf Course Superintendent

Our client, a prestigious private country club, is looking for a highly experienced Senior Golf Course Superintendent to manage the immaculate condition and playability of their championship golf course located in the heart of Dallas, Texas, US . This is a non-remote position requiring dedication and hands-on involvement on-site. You will be responsible for all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turfgrass management, irrigation systems, pest and disease control, bunker maintenance, and overall course aesthetics. This role involves developing and executing annual agronomic plans, managing budgets effectively, and leading a skilled grounds crew. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of turfgrass science, modern maintenance practices, and the use of specialized equipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the course consistently meets the highest standards expected by our discerning members. Responsibilities include operating within budgetary constraints, managing inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in golf course management technology. A Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Turfgrass Management, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in golf course maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Certification from a recognized turfgrass management association is highly desirable. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
