Food Expeditor (Golf Club)

The Food Expeditor supports the food and beverage team across clubhouse dining, banquets, and private events, reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager. This role coordinates orders, maintains service timing, and helps ensure accurate, safe, and well-presented plates during lunch, dinner, variable club events, daily member dining, golf tournaments, and private functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate orders between the kitchen and dining service teams.Inspect plates for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before service.Manage tickets and prioritize orders according to service needs.Communicate timing, special requests, and order updates to the kitchen and service teams.Support food safety and sanitation standards during food handling and service.Monitor service timing to help deliver orders efficiently.Assist with dining room support during clubhouse dining, banquets, private events, and golf tournaments.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in food expediting.High school diploma or equivalent.Food Handler certification.ServSafe certification.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.Experience with order coordination and plate presentation.Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.Strong kitchen communication, timing, and prioritization skills.Attention to detail and teamwork.
