Golf Driving Range/Top Tracer Attendant

About the position The Top Tracer Attendant position includes but is not limited to working as a range bay customer service attendant ensuring guests understand how to use Top Tracer system and are quickly able to begin their games. The Facility Attendant position would be focused on making sure our customers get their range balls, find their bay, and understand how Toptracer works so they can enjoy their golf range experience. The Facility Attendants will be experts at the technical side of Toptracer systems and will have the knowledge and the ability to explain the system with outstanding attention to detail. The 390 Golf Experience is a popular location for both golfers and non-golfers alike. Wood Dale Park District is looking for a person with customer service experience, basic golf knowledge, and strong communication skills. This position is also responsible for maintaining control of the range rules and facility regulations in a professional, friendly, safe, and positive manner. We are currently looking for coverage during the following shifts: Friday 4:00pm - 11:00pm Saturday 10:30am - 4:00pm or 4:00pm - 11:00pm Sundays 4:00pm - 9:00pm Availability for other shifts during the week in addition to the shifts above is always a plus. Responsibilities Assist the customer in any way needed to make their experience as positive as possible.Ensure Toptracer is working correctly.Coordinate with the Golf Operations Manager or other management personnel to discuss the activities and the expectations for the day.Promote the facility programs, events, and image to the customersAssist customers in enjoying the fun and excitement of the game of Toptracer.Treat every customer with courtesy, respect, and friendliness.Greet customers in a friendly, and professional manner.Provide best-in-class service with hospitality for our Guests.Assists in ensuring range ball inventory is adequate and a steady flow of range balls is in stock for our customers.Pick up range buckets from range bays.Make sure all equipment; radio, ball dispensing machine,Toptracer, etc. are working correctly.Involved in the coordination and administration range functions and special events.Ensure range and work area is kept clean and safe and that all safety procedures are followed.Works closely with Head Golf Professional, Golf Facilities Manager, custodial department, and range attendants to maintain proper range appearance.Inspects facility for cleanliness, safety, crowd control, customer service and protects against theft or damage of Wood Dale Park District property.Communicate with Head Golf Professional and or management throughout the day.Commitment to highest quality of customer service.May have to assist the range ball attendant employees keep up with range ball inventory to ensure a steady flow of balls for customers.Various other duties i.e., landscaping, garbage removal, and patio maintenance, as needed.Recognize that this position requires courteous, helpful, and responsive treatment to the golfing public at all times.Utilize communication devices (radio, telephone) in a professional manner (short, clear, and concise).Maintain a positive community image for the District and present self in a professional manner and appearance.Provide the customer with accurate information in all Park District communications.Communicate customer complaints to management to ensure high quality customer service and satisfaction.Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those working at the 390 Golf Experience, golf patrons, employees, vendors, and the public.Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines and the ability to exercise good judgment, flexibility, creativity, and sensitivity in response to changing situations and needs.Strong attention to detail and ability to get things done.Keep work area neat and clean and assist in keeping the range and areas around the 390 Golf Experience facility clean and call attention to management of any maintenance issues needing addressing.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Promote Golf course Restaurant, Banquet and Special Events.Assist with making sure Rental Golf Clubs get to the proper bay(s).Monitors the environment for safety concerns and corrects accordingly, informs Head Golf Professional, Supervisors, Maintenance staff and others of safety-related concerns and unsafe conditions.Monitors weather conditions and notifying management staff whenever lightning is sighted.Support, promote and make recommendations regarding all safety, health and loss control policies as adopted by the Park District.Respond to safety concerns, illnesses or injuries on the Range and contact emergency services as needed;
