Position Summary
The Assistant Golf Professional supports the daily operation of the Golf Shop and golf facilities while providing exceptional service to members and guests. This position assists with tournaments, merchandising, instruction, and all aspects of golf operations to ensure an outstanding member experience.
Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional service to members and guests.Assist with daily Golf Shop operations, including opening, closing, and tee sheet management.Coordinate and administer golf tournaments and events.Assist with merchandising, inventory, and retail sales.Provide golf instruction and support junior golf programs.Monitor pace of play and maintain a positive golf experience.Maintain the appearance and organization of the Golf Shop and practice facilities.Work collaboratively with all club departments.QualificationsPGA Member or PGA Associate preferred.Previous golf operations experience preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.Lift up to 50 pounds.Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
