Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Haworth Country Club – Haworth, New Jersey Haworth Country Club is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who is eager to advance their career in golf course agronomy and management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent on all aspects of daily operations while being entrusted with significant responsibility and leadership opportunities. About Haworth Country Club We are fortunate to have a veteran maintenance staff of 16, with many team members having been part of the Haworth family for over 10 years. Work Schedule Peak season: Typically, no more than 6 days per week / 50 hours Winter schedule: 5 days per week / approximately 35 hours

Job Requirements Experience Requirements Preferred: 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent All qualified resumes will be considered Educational Requirements 2- or 4-year degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or a related field Special Requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership Solid knowledge of cool-season turfgrass management Positive attitude toward workload, team members, and club membership Ability to lead effectively under pressure Plays golf and understands course setup and playing conditions Familiar with expectations of a private club in Northern New Jersey Must possess, or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire, a New Jersey Pesticide License

Salary Range From $80,000 to $100,000 per year
