Job SummaryThe City of Russell is looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to be a part of a team that takes pride in creating a wonderful experience for golfers. The applicant in this position will work directly for the Golf Course Superintendent in the daily upkeep of the golf course and equipment.ResponsibilitiesMowing, weed eating, spraying, and watering the golf course.Assisting with the construction of new course projects and maintenance of existing greens, fairways, tee areas, and roughs.Helping the Superintendent in basic planning of annual budgets and capital improvements.Keeping equipment in good working order through regular repair and maintenance.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Valid driver’s license.At least 18 years of age or older.Willingness to perform physical outdoor work.Basic knowledge of landscaping and equipment repair is a plus; training will be provided.Pre‑employment drug screening, background check, and job placement assessment required.BenefitsThe City of Russell offers a very progressive benefit package.
