Staff Accountant Wicker Point Golf Club – Alexander City, Alabama 295 Wicker Drive, Alexander City, AL 35010 Position Summary Wicker Point Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the club’s daily financial operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with member billing, and supporting monthly financial reporting. This is an on-site position based at Wicker Point Golf Club and is not a remote role. Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and daily revenue reports Assist with member billing, collections, and account inquiries Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation Monitor inventory and expense reporting for clubhouse and golf operations Collaborate with department managers to ensure accurate coding and budgeting Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Assist with annual audits and tax documentation preparation Provide administrative and accounting support to the Controller or Chief Financial Officer as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Excellent communication and customer service skills Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health insurance options 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holiday benefits Reports To Controller / Chief Financial Officer About Wicker Point Golf Club Wicker Point Golf Club is a premier private golf club located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama, offering a luxury golf and hospitality experience centered around exceptional service, championship golf, and elevated member amenities.
