Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Department: Kitchen Reports to: Executive Chef Status: Seasonal - Part Time or Full Time | Non-Exempt Hourly wage: $21 an hour Position Summary Glenmoor Country Club is a family oriented, private club and golf course centrally located in beautiful Cherry Hills Village off of I25 and Belleview. Our dedicated kitchen team is a critical piece in offering our members the best in a variety of dining experiences. This support role is very important to us here at GCC. We are seeking to fill seasonal slots. Job Duties & Functions ESSENTIAL DUTIES Washes all wares in dishwashing machine or by handCleans, stores and organizes all equipment and wares in designated areasCollects trash from kitchen areas; empties garbage cans and cleans as needed, breaks down boxes, crates and places debris in proper receptaclesWashes and polishes kitchen equipment, floors and cooking and storage areasSweeps and mops kitchen floors assuring they remain clean, dry, and clear of debrisContinuously inspects floors in kitchen areas to assure they remain clean, dry and clear of debris.Cleans dish machine and dish area according to pre-established schedule.Maintains inventories of soap, chemicals and paper towels.Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.Assists in completing scheduled kitchen cleaning and maintenance listUses and stores all chemical cleaning supplies in a safe mannerOTHER DUTIES Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by managerExamines garbage for misplaced wares and other reusable itemsPerforms other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, receiving and storing inventoryWhat you get to do: Work and grow with a fun, welcoming, dedicated teamTake pride in making sure our kitchen stays clean and tidyWork independently and as part of a teamSupport our culinary team by making sure they have the supplies they needCreate order from disarray in the dish pit!We we offer: This seasonal position may be either part time or full time and will run from April 1 through October 2026. Candidates hired seasonally may be invited to stay later in the season as needed. They will qualify for: Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked401k Savings Plan with employer match when age, tenure, and hours eligibility requirements are met.Premium pay for worked holidaysOvertime payRequirements:Must be able to meet scheduled shiftsMust be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 poundsMust be able to work in a fast paced environment at times Job Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Basic communication and interpersonal skillsSolid ability to anticipate and solve problemsBasic ability to read/write EnglishAbility to balance, stoop, crouch, reach, handle, finger, feel, speak, hear, and see (near and far)Ability to walk and stand to a significant degree, exert up to 25 pounds of force frequently and up to 50-60 pounds of force occasionallyWorking Conditions Includes working in mobile dishwasher unitMay include exposure to weather and increase noise levelsWill include exposure to slippery floors and sharp objectsWill include working with harsh chemicals, hot water, steam, and hot itemsGlenmoor Country Club operates in a non-tipping environment.
