Safety & Security Ambassador (Part-Time) Belle Meade Country Club At Belle Meade Country Club, safety is part of the overall experience we provide to our members and team. As a Safety & Security Ambassador, you’ll help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across the Club. Position Summary The Safety & Security Ambassador plays a key role in protecting members, guests, employees, and property while serving as a professional and approachable presence. This role focuses on awareness, prevention, and responding appropriately to situations as they arise. What You’ll Do Support a Safe Environment Help ensure the safety and well-being of all members, guests, employees, and contractors Deter, detect, and respond to potential or active security concerns Monitor and manage access points using established procedures and systems Identify and address unauthorized access when necessary Respond & Communicate Respond to emergency situations and provide basic first aid when needed Recognize and report safety hazards or security concerns to leadership Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate written reports of incidents, hazards, and security concerns Follow all Safety & Security Department policies and procedures Be a Visible & Professional Presence Provide strong, service-focused interactions while maintaining security standards Communicate professionally and courteously with members, guests, staff, and contractors across a wide range of interactions Remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Work both independently and as part of a team Stay Prepared Participate in required training and development Be flexible with scheduling, including occasional changes based on Club needs Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions What We’re Looking For Valid Tennessee Unarmed Guard License (Dallas Law training required) Current CPR & First Aid Certification Minimum 2 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military preferred Valid Tennessee Driver’s License Clear criminal background High school diploma or GED (or higher education) Skills & Abilities Strong judgment and ability to stay calm under pressure Good communication skills (written and verbal), including experience writing detailed and well-organized incident reports Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Physically able to stand for extended periods and respond to situations when necessary Familiarity with CCTV, access control systems, and basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred Schedule Part-Time Position Thursday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm Saturday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm Sunday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm Weekend availability is required.
