About the Role:
The Golf Outside Services position is a vital role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and operational support at a golf facility. The primary goal is to ensure that all golfers have a seamless and enjoyable experience from arrival through departure. This role involves assisting with golf cart operations, and providing guidance on course etiquette and rules. The position requires proactive communication with guests and coordination with other golf operations staff to maintain smooth daily activities. Ultimately, the role contributes to the overall reputation and success of the golf facility by fostering a welcoming and efficient environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a golf or recreational setting.
Ability to operate golf carts safely and responsibly.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Evenings and weekends are required
Physical ability to be on feet for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in golf course operations or outside services.
Knowledge of golf rules, terminology, and etiquette.
Certification in golf cart operation or safety training.
Basic first aid or CPR certification.
Familiarity with golf course management software or tee time booking systems.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist golfers upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process.
Coordinate golf cart assignments to optimize course flow and player satisfaction.
Provide clear instructions on golf course rules, safety protocols, and etiquette to all guests.
Oversee the practice areas, including the driving range and putting greens, ensuring they are well-maintained and accessible.
Maintain and clean golf carts and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and reliability.
Collaborate with golf course maintenance and pro shop staff to address any operational needs or guest concerns.
Monitor course conditions and communicate any relevant updates or changes to golfers and staff.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of golf events or tournaments as needed.
