Title: Equipment Manager — Private Golf Club | Palm Beach County, FL Description: A premier private golf club in Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to lead its equipment operations program. This is a full-time, permanent position with a well-established club committed to maintaining its course at the highest level. The Role The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and management of a full fleet of golf course turf equipment. The right candidate brings technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a genuine pride in keeping a high-performing fleet in peak condition. Responsibilities include: Full fleet maintenance and repair — mowers, utility vehicles, irrigation equipment, and supporting machinery Scheduling and managing preventive maintenance programs Maintaining detailed service records and equipment logs Managing parts inventory and vendor relationships Coordinating with the superintendent on equipment needs and course preparation Overseeing and mentoring shop staff where applicable The Candidate The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of experience as an Equipment Manager or lead technician at a golf course operation Strong diesel and gasoline engine repair skills Experience with Toro, Jacobsen, or comparable turf equipment preferred Familiarity with GPS-guided cutting systems a plus Reel grinding experience required A professional, team-oriented approach to shop management Compensation Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
