Security Ambassador

Our Security Ambassador role is a pivotal position for our team, and we will look to you to lead by example, set high standards for yourself and promote a work environment that doesn’t settle for anything less than producing high quality results.

In this position, you will be responsible for greeting members and invited guests in a welcoming approach in addition to providing a safe and secure environment. You will work closely with the Security Manager, Supervisor and teammates on daily priorities and projects in a highly collaborative manner. It is also expected that you will work closely with our hospitality and service teams to ensure an elevated member and invited guest experience.

This “global service” approach is a significant element to our collective success, and this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring, and more importantly, modeling a global service standard, attitude and mind-set in all situations. Setting a personal example of being a professional, thoughtful, and in-the-moment contributor, while embracing a respectful workplace environment is crucial in this role. Providing security support while working collaboratively will be what ultimately defines success in this role.

Responsibilities

· Greet members and invited guests upon arrival and relay details/requests to appropriate staff members in a timely and precise manner

· Maintains accountability of all vendors and/or external guests entering/moving about the property

· Direct traffic entering and leaving the Front Gate

· Follow company policies and procedures and protects proprietary

· information and company assets

· Ensure all required communications are sent in a timely manner

· Communicate efficiently through email, phone, and/or radio

· Monitor surveillance systems

· Professionally de-escalate situations as needed

· Assist other departments and teams with duties as directed

The Skills You'll Bring

· Previous Security experience in a private member club environment highly desired

· Highly professional presence, with a focus on thoughtful communications and approach

· Ability to focus attention on Ownership, Member and Invited Guest’s needs, along with the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances

· Strong interpersonal skills while fostering a positive and collaborative environment

· Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-touch environment

· Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, work cohesively as part of a team, and adapt/respond to different communication styles

· Experience resolving conflict and finding mutually beneficial solutions

· Display a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

· Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity in all situations

· Must obtain certifications in AED, CPR, and First Aid (company provided)

Education and Experience

· Military or security industry experience within a luxury retail, resort, hotel or hospitality environment is strongly preferred

· High School diploma or equivalent education

· Ability to speak, read and write English, Spanish speaking proficiency a plus

Other

· Must possess a valid, current drivers’ license and a clean driving record

· Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed

· This position requires the ability to lift and/or move items up to 50lbs

· This position is required to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
