Greenville Country Club is seeking a First Assistant Golf Professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional member service and contributing to a high-level golf operation. Opportunities for instruction and player development programming are available for professionals interested in growing their teaching business.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with tournament operations utilizing Golf Genius software
Provide exceptional service and professional engagement with members and guests
Support daily golf shop operations including tee sheet management and point-of-sale systems
Assist in managing and maintaining the practice facilities
Provide private instruction, group clinics, and player development programming
Support golf initiatives including clinics, camps, and leagues
Assist with club fitting and equipment sales
Track and verify daily play including guest play, cart usage, and member charges
Assist with merchandise planning, purchasing, and inventory management
Help supervise and train golf shop and outside services staff
Support league play and club tournament programming
Promote club events, programs, and services to members
Maintain a professional image and represent the club at the highest standard
