About the position
Golf Course Starters are responsible for maintaining starting times, tee sheets, and ensuring golfers get to their first tee in a prompt and orderly manner. They are an important part of making sure customers have a pleasant golfing experience.
Responsibilities
Monitors the 1st and 10th tee starting times and verifies green free receiptsMonitors the flow of play from one nine to the next and advises pro shop team or General Manager of any potential issuesCollaborates with pro shop team members to ensure tee time sheet is up to dateEnsures all residents and guests adhere to the golf course dress codeAssists golfers to find a game if they are playing aloneMarkets the golf course memberships and special rates to the daily fee playersCommunicates with residents and guests of the golf course in a friendly and courteous mannerOther duties as assignedRequirements
High School Diploma or GEDExcellent customer service and communication skillsProfessional appearanceBasic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internetMust have a valid driver's licenseBenefits
