Responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
Perform daily activities of the golf course maintenance team, including turf care, landscaping, and irrigation.Assist with planning and executing daily maintenance tasks as directed.Support the maintenance of golf course equipment and coordinate with the Equipment Manager to address service needs.Ensure that all work is performed safely and efficiently in accordance with club standards.Operate and assist in maintaining golf course equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, and hand tools.Monitor the irrigation system; identify and report malfunctions or inefficiencies and assist with repairs as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.Maintain and operate equipment in a safe, efficient manner.Accurately finish jobs in a reasonable amount of time.Carry a radio when one is provided by team leadership.Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.Wear designated uniforms properly at all times during work hours.Immediately report any unsafe conditions or incidents to leadership.Assist in maintaining a clean and safe shop and work environmentPerform fuel and oil checks before daily equipment use; refuel and clean the equipment at the end of each use.Exhibit professional behavior and proper etiquette when in the presence of members, guests, and staff across the property.Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.Experience: Previous experience in golf course maintenance is preferred, but not required.Skills: Ability to understand and interpret instructions and policies.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and operating mechanical equipment.Exposure to various weather conditions.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
